A Support System For Families Coping With Baby Loss Is Taking Shape In The UAE
“In sharing our stories, we find strength and connection” – an event to support women through baby loss is happening in Dubai in honour of Baby Loss Awareness Week.
Today we delve into a topic that often stays in the shadows but touches the lives of so many—the emotional journey of baby loss during pregnancy. For most, pregnancy is a time of great joy and hope, but for some families, it becomes a painful experience of loss and shattered dreams.
Our guests, Cassie Destino from IVF Support UAE and Pregnancy and Parenthood Support Specialist Lala Langtry White on behalf of the Love Through Loss event joined The Lovin Dubai Show to shed light on this sensitive subject. They bring a wealth of understanding and compassion to discuss why baby loss is often shrouded in silence, despite affecting a staggering 1 in 4 families.

Every journey of loss is different – Love Through Loss is an event happening this week to support families coping during a difficult time
The Love Through Loss event will take place online on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th October, followed by an in-person Afternoon of Remembrance on Sunday 15th October for the Global Wave of Light, 5:50 – 7:30pm at Nature Escapes, Al Barari.
This is a support system that includes access to many groups. It includes Small and Mighty Babies, IVF Support UAE, Lala Langtry White Support, TFMR Mamas, Twins Plus Arabia, Still a Mum, The Prepared Pineapple and health and wellness agency TishTash Communications. T
