The grand opening for Expo City Dubai has been announced – mark your calendars for October 1.

Building on the success of Expo 2020 Dubai, the city will keep about 80% of the infrastructure created during the World Expo, it’s a ‘clean, green, tech-enabled, human-centric city of the future, Expo City Dubai is designed as a blueprint for sustainable urban planning, driving innovation and action on its journey to net zero’ according to reports. And between now and October your favourite features are reopening so you can visit again and again!

Love Expo? (YES!) Ahead of the grand opening, 2 cool experiences open to the public on September 1

WATCH THIS SPACE: Al Wasl Plaza, the Surreal water feature, the Women’s Pavilion and the Vision Pavilion, as well as children’s playgrounds and the carousel – will open in October. 

You can experience two of the most popular pavilions from 1 September (Alif – The Mobility Pavilion and Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion)

PRICE DEETS: AED 50 per person per pavilion. Head to Expo City Dubai to book OR four box offices at Expo City Dubai from 1 September. FREE for children aged 12 and under and People of Determination.

Garden in the Sky, (opens September 1 ) AED 30 each. FREE for children aged 6 and under and People of Determination.
You can visit the majority of Expo City Dubai’s open spaces for free. You can enjoy a stroll, while buggies, the Expo Explorer, eScooters and eBikes are also available (prices vary)

Getting there

Expo City Dubai is easily accessed by metro, car and taxi. Parking, including dedicated parking for People of Determination, is available at Al Forsan, Jubilee, Mobility and Sustainability
