The First Israeli Baby Was Born On UAE Soil Today

Since the agreement of the Abraham Accord that formalised the relations between Israel and the UAE, the first Israeli baby was born on UAE soil.

The Head of Mission Israeli consulate in Dubai, Ilan Sztulman and his wife Jackie welcomed their baby girl into the world on September 15. Mia Sztulman Starosta Lembert was born at Dubai’s Mediclinic Hospital. She was also born on the anniversary of the Abraham Accords!

Mia is Sztulman’s fifth child and the first to be born in the UAE since the Abraham Accord

Alon Ushpiz, the Director-General of Israel’s Foreign Ministry, congratulated the couple and tweeted (translated):
A year of peace with the Emirates. Sunday to Mia. Mazel Tov Ilan Sztulman And Jacqueline.
Yair Lapid, the Alternate Prime Minister of Israel and Minister of Foreign Affairs also congratulated the couple, tweeting (translated):
Mia Sztulman is the first Israeli baby born in Dubai! Congratulations to Ilan Stolman, Head of the Israeli Representation in Dubai and his wife Jackie! The entire Foreign Ministry raises a glass in your honor !!!!

Avi Berkowitz, Former Assistant to the President, Member of the White House team that negotiated the Abraham Accords also congratulated the family

Berkowitz tweeted a congratulations to the family saying “Very proud of the Abraham Accords. Look: This is Mia, the first Israeli baby to be born in Dubai.”
