Children Aged 3 To 17 Are Now Eligible For The Sinopharm Vaccine In The UAE
United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Prevention just announced some exciting news that’ll speed the country along to normalcy A.C. That’s After Covid. Children below the age of 13 were not eligible for any vaccine, until Pfizer.
NCEMA have stated that 70.69 of the population of the UAE are fully vaccinated.
Now children between the ages of 3 and 17 are eligible for the Sinopharm vaccine

The decision to vaccinate children between the ages of 3 and 17 comes after clinical trials
MoHAP announced that the Sinopharm vaccine can be administered to children between the ages of 3 and 17. The decision came after “clinical trials and extensive calculations and is based on the emergency use authorisation and local evaluations which are in line with the approved regulations,” NCEMA stated in a Tweet.
Authorities in Abu Dhabi achieved the target of vaccinating 900 children as part of the trial to study the effectiveness of the Sinopharm vaccine on the youngsters. The Department of Health Abu Dhabi said the study examined the vaccine’s effectiveness in reducing the infection rate and the severity of the symptoms.
