Dubai Born Ed Jones Has Just Secured Third Place At The Indy 500 Drive

Racing to the third spot on the podium at the Indy is our very own Ed Jones. The Dubai-born Brit finished the race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway circuit as the fastest rookie. This is the best drive of his hyper speed career to date and he has set his sights on the 2018 first place title. 

The winner of the 2017 title, Takuma Sato, is almost twice the age of the 22-year-old who started 11th in the fourth row before racing ahead to his third place title on Sunday afternoon. 

Jones was clearly disappointed with his placement and claimed that he wished he was ”up there” – with regards to the board. Second place winner and three-time winner of the event, Helio Castroneves, remarked, “You are up there, man. Are you kidding? Third place.” Clearly, no disappointment needed here!
