RTA Announces Some Road Changes That’ll Happen This Weekend
Announcing two new changes to the current roads, RTA just sent out these tweets earlier today informing motorists on the new additions.
With hopes of only decreasing traffic, and increasing road safety, RTA is constantly working on making the UAE a pleasant place to drive in.
There will be a new diversion on Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Mina

As well as, the Dubai-Al Ain Road exit from Al Khail being closed.
To improve road safety, the Dubai-Al Ain Road exit from Al Khail Road will be closed this weekends, to perform yearly maintenance works. Alternatively, motorists can use turn-around exits on Abu Kadra bridge to reach Dubai-Al Ain Road. pic.twitter.com/SOfEowQFiz

How long will these be?
As for the new two-way traffic diversion between Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Mina, this will continue running until April 2018 as they work on improving the Al Shandagha network.
The Dubai-Al Ain Road exit will only remain closed from Friday midday, to early Saturday morning.
