NGL, we had to do a double take when we saw this footage doing rounds on social media because this, THIS is one sight that residents haven’t been privy to in Dubai.
We’re talking about an auto rickshaw, yes, you heard that right, a rickshaw, cruising through the streets of Dubai. This popular South-Asian vehicle has made its way into our desert oasis, and residents are going bonkers for it!
The owner of this classic white Rickshaw an Indian exapt named, Julaash, AKA @jb__explorer. And get this, you can actually rent this bad boy for photoshoots and weddings!

Curious how Julaash manages to whip this rickshaw through Dubai’s bustling streets? Turns out, he obtained a biker license from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), which permits him to ride the Rickshaw around the city.
Some love it, some hate it, but one thing’s for sure—everyone’s talking about it. It’s like hopping on a time machine and zooming through the streets of old Bombay or Bangkok.
Dubai’s streets have seen it all, from supercars to camel crossings, but this tuk-tuk phenomenon takes the cake.
