His mother’s love taught him the importance of love in life, and he believes that love is what makes life worth living. “If you believe in God, it’s about, you know, God’s love for us. It’s about your love for the prophet or whatever you believe in, you know, love,” he says.

As he says, “I want my kids in 30 years when they’re my age now to listen back and be like, yeah, maybe it’s not the biggest hit now, but this is still meaningful and it’s something to be proud of.”
