The UAE Has Changed VAT Rules For Tourists

Good news for tourists!

The UAE Cabinet has just confirmed that tourists will be exempt from paying VAT.

Tourists will now be eligible to get a refund for the VAT spend in UAE through special recovery services.

Tourists can shop ever more and yet still get some money back.

This scheme is said to start at the end of 2018

Value added tax was introduced on January 1 and is applicable to good and services.
