A community that opened almost a year ago in Dubai is still lacking WiFi connections.

Developer Nakheel has said that that the telecommunications challenges at Warsan Village are a commercial matter, and not a regulatory issue, according to Gulf News.

Residents say that they have spent thousands of dirhams on buying mobile data packages.

Nakheel added that the delay in connection is beyond their control, but are doing everything they can to resolve this issue. It also urges the residents to contact etisalat and du to activate the services urgently.
