Apple Has Closed All Dubai Stores In Wake Of Rising COVID-19 Infections

The Apple stores in Dubai have queues that lap around corners, pretty much all year long. You need to make appointments to get your products fixed, or even just to shop. It’s such an in-demand location that they felt the need to temporarily close for a few days due to COVID-19 cases spiking.

Apple has always taken the necessary precaution to keep shoppers safe like social distancing sticks to keep everyone alert, sanitization around the clock, face-masks for those who need it, and a limit on stores capacity.

Apple has temporarily closed 2 Dubai stores in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19

The Apple stores in The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates will open on Thursday, January 13

Both Dubai locations will close for 3 days and open on Thursday. The timings for when they open will remain the same and you can double-check before visiting through their website.

The Apple store in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi will remain open. Online shopping with contactless delivery is also available.

Apple shut down 8 stores across the United States and Canada as Covid-19 cases surged among the public in December, 2021

According to Bloomberg, 8 locations across the United States and Canada, have closed as COVID-19 cases drastically increased.

The UAE currently has 2,562 new cases with 860 recoveries and no COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours. But as we all know variants are spreading quickly worldwide and practising all precautionary methods is vital.
