New technologies have been announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to reduce waiting times for crowds at big events, so if you’ve ever been stuck waiting for a cab following a popular event, (we see you Biebs and Ed) these new advancements could help.

New technology will determine the size of crowd and deploy taxis accordingly… It makes so much sense!

These new systems will streamline transport at events

Cameras to remotely monitor the event, customer satisfaction ratings, a device to determine the size of the queue and the type of transportation needed and cameras to read the taxi plates will be put in place to ensure customer’s needs are looked after in the fastest possible manner, and therefore streamlining the management of transport at events.
