Actress and humanitarian Goldie Hawn has been spotted around Dubai this weekend, however she’s not here for a movie or a holiday.
The esteemed actress is here as a guest speaker for the World Government Summit.

Through her foundation and projects Goldie is seeking to improve the lives of children across the world.
The foundation aims to decrease anxiety and stress in children in order to help them thrive and increase happiness.
The MindUP project is a tool for educators to help implement this mission by improving student’s engagement and bringing joy back to the classroom.
Goldie Hawn took to the stage today to speak about her MindUP project as well as the importance of creating an enjoyable learning environment for children.
She stressed the importance of educating children on their mental health and wellbeing in order for them to grow into happier adults.
Over 190 speakers will be presenting innovative talks to over 4000 attendees.
Discussing a range of issues in today’s world, speakers will delve into the challenges and opportunities faced by the world today.
De Niro will join a discussion on climate change.
World renowned astrophysicist Dr. deGrasse Tyson will discuss the importance of colonising Mars and creating a multi-planetary species.
Artist and entrepreneur Will.i.am will speak about access to technology and development.
Everything from happiness and wellbeing, space travel, technology, climate change, entrepreneurship, robotics, women and youth, and education will be discussed at the event.
Innovative and passionate speakers will join panels and open the dialogue for many of these important issues.
